HOW TO INSTALL GOOGLE WEB STORIES ON YOUR WORDPRESS WEBSITE

GET THE PLUGIN

Go to: https://google.github.io/web-stories-wp/beta/ and download the Beta plugin.  Be sure to read up on what you’ll need and Google’s content requirements.  Understanding this upfront will help in the long run.

Install on your WordPress site, go to Plugins then Upload. Navigate to the file you downloaded. Activate the Plugin, you may need to refresh your page or sign out and back in again.

INSTALL AND ACTIVATE THE PLUGIN

MAKE A TEST STORY

Click “Web Stories” on the WordPress control panel. Create a test story and save it.  Copy the story’s URL for the next step, click DOCUMENT in the top right of the editor. Then find the permnalink down at the bottom.

PASTE THE URL

Go back to the control panel and choose post -> Add New Add header Insert block then web story Paste the URL, Save, then Publish.
